Yle Ođđasat is a five-minute long Sámi-language news broadcast which is shot and produced in Inari, in the middle of the Finnish Sámi region. Each day about 100 000 people watch the service. The news deals with topics relating to the Sámi people, from a Sámi perspective. The broadcast uses the three Sámi languages spoken in Finland and is subtitled in Finnish. You can catch Yle Ođđasat every weekday at 3:10pm on YLE TV1.
