My dreams

My main dream is to get a dog named Fiude. My previous assistant, who was part Cairn Terrier and part Highland Terrier, got called to that bone ranch upstairs. Now I need to get a new assistant who I can carry on with. Writing is a pretty damn lonely job. I also plan that for the rest of my life – as long as I’m able – I will walk seven and a half kilometres, or 15,000 steps, a day. While walking, I’m able to write lyrics to new songs and in some way stay healthy.

Lately, I’ve also been developing a US patent for an invention. I call it the ‘reverb on the internet’. The idea is to guide automated cars – which are going to be used in the future in some form or another – so that they can centralise themselves and read each other’s movements; for example, what kind of car is coming around the corner and how fast it is moving. The invention is a bit like writing a song, a really fun project!

Timo Eränkö likes provocation. The picture shows Eränkö with his Puujumalat band hat which says ‘Bosses are always pricks’. Picture: Timo Eränkö.
