What else have I been up to?

In looking for my career path I had the great good fortune to start a family with my wife Yvonne Pacius. Our children, born in 1975, 1978 and 1980 have made life worth living.

Since the age of 15 I have been a firm advocate of co-operation, taking an active part in various community activities:

  • Akademiska Sångföreningen (’Male students’ choir’) 1971–75, secretary 1973–74, chair 1974-75
  • Cavalry officers, cadet school horses and cross-country riding, 1987–2000
  • Nyländska Jaktklubben, Nylands sailing club, Commodore 2001–06
  • Chair, veteran division NJK sailing club, 2012-
  • Diverse histories, including Akademiska Sångföreningen 140 v (’Academic Choral Society 140th anniversary’), Evli Pankki 20 vuotta (‘Twenty years of the Evli bank’) and Nyländska Jaktklubben 150 v (‘The sesquicentenary of the Nylands sailing club’).
  • Member of numerous organisations
  • Navy Reservist 1971–2011, full service record. Rank: Lieutenant, Senior Grade (2003).
