Raatteen tien tuhot ja myytti (’The road to Raatte – destruction and myth’) on YLE Elävä Arkisto (television catch-up, available in Finland)

The battle along the Raatte road in central Finland during the Winter War was truly a sorry sight. A film documenting the events of January 1940 shows the destruction in all its misery, and is still capable of shocking. The study, published in autumn 2012, questions some of the myths the conflict has given rise to.
