“Self-esteem and education go hand in hand”
At this age the dreams are not about me, except the one where I get to die with my boots on. They have to do with my children and grandchildren’s wellbeing. I hope they have developed a degree of self-possession, that they experience life as a positive thing, that things go well for them.
I have had such a wonderful life and got so much done. I’m eternally grateful to my own family. That’s the source of my self-esteem, upbringing and cultural background. Education and self-esteem go hand in hand. And it’s all down to the home and my parents, not me. There’s nothing more I’d wish to do, I feel I’ve done it all.
