Tekla Hultin

A brave women’s rights advocate, who was in the vanguard of the struggle for women’s liberation, a journalist, and an active member of numerous organisations. Tekla Hultin was the first woman in Finland to be awarded a PhD. She was actively engaged in politics, and was elected as a Member of Parliament as early as 1908.

Worked as journalist, researcher, and parliamentarian; active member of numerous organisations.
