My Dream

I have several literary plans and topics I would still like to tackle, while keeping in mind that many literary scholars have also published comprehensive works in their retirement years. But having taught at the University for 44 years and having experienced everything, both good and bad, that can happen in the university world, I dream of solitude in a small village on the island of El Hierro. There I would sit on the beach all day long, listening to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset.
