Gliding license acquired

Arvi Lind fulfilled his life-long dreams immediately after retiring: he acquired a gliding licence and went to Australia and New Zealand with his wife.

– I have had a rich and diverse life. I dream about seeing my grandchildren grow up and find their own way in life. Of course I also dream about staying healthy. I already have a house by the sea in central Helsinki, I guess that is many people’s dream, Lind says jokingly.

Unfinished studies bother him a little.

– I am satisfied with my fate; I suppose I’ll never get my master’s degree.
